"When we founded Reel Logix, Inc. in 2002, there was a lot of pressure from within the industry for us to create a new scheduling breakdown program, mostly due to the team's experience of working on Movie Magic Scheduling, and my history with SSI for many years. Although we seriously considered it, there were several companies already working to address this issue for the industry. After interviewing hundreds of people in production and observing work flow processes, the theme that consistently emerged was the need for a calendaring solution. The Reel Production Calendar was developed and launched out of that need in January, 2004".

The new 3.3 release has many new features including improved filtering capabilities, new sharing and collaboration functionality the ability to auto-skip days off when creating events and the capability to easily generate web calendars for distributed work environments.
