Reel Logix Inc announces the release of two new versions of
The Calendar Planner.
Beverly Hills, CA - July, 2006 - Reel Logix Inc., a California
based software development company known for building innovative
productivity tools since 2002 unveiled plans for two new versions of
The Calendar Planner, scheduled to release in July 2006 and September 2006.
"These two releases are the culmination of over a year
of working closely with many of our customers, from individuals
to fortune 100 companies" said Marcia Robinson, VP of
client relations. "People have really taken to the unique
visual approach the Calendar Planner uses to create schedules
and we have had allot of great ideas from people for these
releases. Many of the features are to be expected such as
integration with products like Outlook and Palm and others are
much more creative. The new visual approach to event and
resource scheduling for example is really going to be a big hit.
Version 3.5 will release in July 2006 and will contain the
following:
- Links to web pages and even files can now be added to events
or to notes. Allowing you to link to additional information
both from Web Calendars and from within the software.
- New interface and productivity enhancements perfected while
working with our customers will be added to make using the software
easier and more productive than ever.
- New rich text notes will allow detailed notes to be added to
days and events with formatting like bold, italics, bulleted lists
and active links to web pages and files. Display formatted notes
onscreen and print fully formatted notes in the notes report.
- New schedule rollup capability will allow categories and
sub-categories to be optionally displayed and printed as a
single banner to easily show high level durations.
- Performance improvements will allow the calendar software to
handle even larger more complex schedules 10 X faster.
Version 4.0 will release in September 2006 and will contain
the following:
- Enhanced Networking will make sharing calendars better than ever.
Forget about costly web based solutions or dedicated servers.
use your existing LAN or even peer to peer sharing capability to
network your calendars.
- New and innovative views will allow even more flexibility to see
your calendar or schedule exactly the way you want to.
- Enhanced importing and exporting will allow you to easily move
information between The Calendar Planner and your favorite programs
and devices.
- New and enhanced reporting will allow you to print your schedule
in calendar format as well as non calendar based formats.
- New and innovative schedule features will make creating and
managing schedules with multiple related events, tasks and resources
a breeze.
- New tracking features will make tracking actual work days for
your employees and resources incredibly fast and easy.
- Additional interface and productivity enhancements to make
creating and maintaining your calendars faster than ever.
